Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the GT Soft Furnishings website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services. These terms are subject to change at any time without notice.
Service Scope
GT Soft Furnishings Ltd provides contract soft furnishing solutions including supply only, supply and installation, and bespoke consultancy services. All services are provided 'as described' and subject to project-specific terms and contracts.
Quotations & Orders
Quotation Validity
Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue date. Quoted prices assume no material changes to project scope or specifications.
Order Acceptance
Orders are accepted upon written confirmation from GT Soft Furnishings. Verbal agreements are not binding. A deposit may be required before production commences.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation charges apply based on production stage and delivery timeline.
Payment Terms
- Standard payment terms are Net 30 days from invoice date
- Early payment discounts available on request
- Late payment may incur interest at 8% per annum plus statutory rate
- Payment method options include bank transfer, cheque, and credit card
- Deposits are required for custom and bespoke orders
Delivery & Installation
Delivery
We aim to deliver within agreed timescales. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure are not our responsibility.
Installation Services
Installation is provided by our trained professionals. Client must provide safe access and appropriate site conditions. Additional charges apply for complex installations.
Site Preparation
Client is responsible for clearing spaces, removing furniture, and ensuring site safety. GT Soft Furnishings is not liable for damage to existing structures or contents.
Warranty & Liability
Product Warranty
Products come with manufacturer's warranty (typically 12 months from delivery). Damage due to misuse, installation error, or normal wear is excluded.
Limitation of Liability
GT Soft Furnishings' total liability shall not exceed the contract value. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or anticipated damages.
Professional Negligence
We carry professional indemnity insurance and exercise reasonable care in all services. Claims must be reported within 30 days of discovery.
Intellectual Property
All designs, specifications, and materials provided by GT Soft Furnishings remain our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our designs without written permission.
Compliance & Safety
- Products are supplied against the standards and specification agreed for the applicable project
- Fire retardancy specifications meet MOD, healthcare, and commercial requirements
- Child safety systems comply with BS EN 13120 and EN 16432
- Installation follows Health & Safety at Work Act requirements
- Certificates of compliance are provided upon request
Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate measurements and site specifications
- Ensure site safety and appropriate access for installation teams
- Notify us of changes to project scope immediately
- Maintain facilities and products according to care instructions
- Comply with all health & safety requirements during installation
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts. Both parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before pursuing legal action.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of commercially sensitive information shared during the course of business. This does not apply to information required to be disclosed by law.
